The Spitfires

Spitfire of the North are working with a trusted provider of warbird pleasure flights to bring you this unique opportunity in 2024. Flights will be fulfilled in one of the following original Supermarine Spitfires.

With all flights, you will receive:

• A detailed pre-flight briefing covering the aircraft, equipment and safety procedures
• Approximately 10 minutes taxiing and engine checks – you will relive the emotions of the RAF pilots as they got ready for take-off.
• A FREE digital video of your flight experience so you can show your flight to family and friends
• Up to 3 guests to accompany you and watch your experience from our viewing gallery

We offer the following total flight durations, airbourne time will be 10 minutes less after taxiing and engine checks:

• 30 mins : Coastal Scramble* - £3250
  • A dash to the coast to patrol the region
• 45 mins : Buzz The Tower or Coastal Patrol* - £4750
  • Buzz Blackpool or patrol the coast of the North West
• 55 mins : North West Skies Patrol* - £5750
  • Make a sweep of the skies across the North West

*Routes are subject to change depending on weather

If weather prevents flying, all customers will receive a full refund (or an opportunity to reschedule if possible).

• Maximum Height 6’6” (1.98m)
• Maximum Weight 17.0 Stone (108 Kg)
• Minimum Age 18 Years
• A signed passenger declaration confirming good general health
